michael pope

Wow. The energy on the planet seems pretty intense at the moment, especially with the Pope here in the U.S. The lunar eclipse with the Supermoon tonight seems to add to the mysticism and feeling that something truly is shifting – something big — and I certainly believe it is.

I know these times can feel a little disturbing and leave us to feel a bit uncomfortable and maybe even scared. This is when the dooms dayers come out with their fears and stir up paranoia in others. I find it interesting that Pope Francis – a man of profound love and humility, not to mention, a man with a vision that is expansive — is causing many to question his motives simply because he is talking about Oneness and Love for all of humanity. You would think that this would be a welcome blessing, yet, so many are afraid. And why?

Let’s ask this… why were people afraid of and threatened by Jesus? Why were many so critical and afraid of Michael? When someone asks us to expand beyond our safe, comfortable boxes that often define who we are, yet painfully separates us from our fellow human brothers and sisters at the same time — it is a sure sign we are living from ego consciousness, that which is based in fear and separation. That which will never bring peace to any heart or the world. Ever.

I know Michael would’ve loved this Pope. Let me correct this by saying, I know Michael LOVES Pope Francis. Yes, Pope Francis is lifting humanity out of it’s old, stuck, and very limited ways and is asking for us all to extend love, compassion and brotherhood to ALL human beings on this planet, no matter where we are from; in fact, he’s adamant about it. Interestingly enough, he’s also adamant about caring for the planet and taking responsibility for what we do to the environment. He gets it. He sees it and he feels the connection. Not just in his mind, but more importantly and profoundly, in his heart. This is where it all originates… the heart, where God’s Divine Love that connects us all — Black, White, Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, American, Arab, Hispanic, Gay, Heterosexual, Male, Female… ALL OF US. ONE. ONE HUMAN RACE. Just ONE. Together. On this One Planet.

Not only would Michael have wanted to meet the beautiful Pope Francis, but I believe that Pope Francis would’ve LOVED have to have met Michael. Why? Because their message was the same… over and over and over again. We ARE the World. Heal the World. We must bring salvation back. It doesn’t matter if you’re black or white. I’m starting with the Man in the Mirror. I’m asking him (us) to make a change!

Yes! What Pope Francis is asking of us is not any different than what Michael asked of us over and over again in his songs. He lived his whole life for this mission alone: to unite the world. To heal our hearts from the belief that we are separate and in the process, heal the world, making it a better place!

Yes, yes, yes. Times are a changing and thank God, for it. The world needs changing. Humanity needs changing. And change feels uncomfortable, especially when we resist through fear. This keeps us even more stuck in the dark. This keeps the pattern of separation, greed, racism, wars, superiority… all of it on track. Time for a change.

The Light is coming. The Light is here. As Michael said, “Heaven is here… Come, let us dance… let us celebrate the joy of life.”

We are the world. Let us be the change…

With love to all of us,
